The +2ch Channel Extender Kit gives you everything you need to upgrade the electronics of an inexpensive two-channel helicopter to full four-channel control.

The core of the Channel Extender Kit is a configurable EEPROM reprogramming block to flash the BIOS on your heli's receiver. Just follow the simple instructions in the handy 482 pg. setup manual to set up the easy-to-use jumper wire array. We include a table of configurations to allow the Channel Extender Kit to work with all popular models like the Picco-Z, Havoc, and Micro Dragonfly. Add a simple line adapter to reprogram your transmitter BIOS.

Also included are tools and instructions for disassembling and modifying your transmitter control stick mechanism to open up the two previously unused axes.

Hi Unbelievable, Thanks for the opportunity to beta test the Channel Extender Kit. I'd like to let prospective buyers know about a "hack" of sorts I discovered. By chaining two Channel Extenders together, you can actually unlock channels 5 & 6 on many radios. This requires the purchase of two kits. First, run a single kit as in the manual, to unlock ch3 & ch4. Then connect the two kits together, using both transmitter programming adapters in series to set the correct connections. Leave the first block as it was, but on the second, straight-wire all jumpers ("model 9999 - reserved" in the manual). I've tried this on three different controllers and it works perfectly! Unfortunately I have not been successful at unlocking anything above 6ch, but I'll keep tinkering. Thanks for the great product.
